Eco-Environment & Health (EEH) is an Open Access, peer-reviewed journal jointly founded by School of Environment, Nanjing University and Nanjing Institute of Environmental Sciences, Ministry of Ecology and Environment. Its goal is to become one of the most important flagship journals in the field of environmental health. EEH focuses on the concept of "One Health" to promote green and sustainable development, dealing with the interactions among ecology, environment and health, and the underlying mechanisms and interventions. EEH covers a variety of research areas, including but not limited to ecology and biodiversity conservation, environmental behaviors and bioprocesses of emerging contaminants, human exposure and health effects, and evaluation, management and regulation of environmental risks.

EEH has an impressive Impact Factor of 17.6 (JCR Q1, 2024) and currently ranks 8th among 376 Environmental Science journals. EEH has been indexed in 15 reputable databases, including ESCI, Scopus, PubMed Central (PMC), Engineering Village-GEOBASE, DOAJ, and CSCD.
